Re: Coping strategies
As a mother of four girls, three of whom are dyslexic, i have to say I distinctly remember one of my girls always insisting that we read on to cover at least one extra chapter with her reading homework. I think with hindsight this was not because she was really enjoying the story but rather to allow her to keep up and follow what they would cover the next time in class.
